I'm trying to wrestle with the NTL library for c++ and I'm using the SFCanZass method in GF2XFactoring. This method is supposed to return a vector containing irreducible factors of a polynomial, but it keeps freezing on certain polynomials. Is there something I can do about this? Also, is the vector always sorted by degree, or is that just a coincidence that I have been running in to?
