Right now I have way too much freetime, so I thought I might of well learn something productive, being a programming language in this case. I want to be able to create apps that have a GUI and maybe 2d and 3d games, and to have this a hobby and maybe a career.
Also what are good (free) compilers and frameworks for doing this stuff?
Which one is better, also consider I use windows 8 (I'm not sure if this matters) and I am 17 years old?
